We had a great turnout for Secret Beer Club (Session 7) beer tasting on Thursday 26th April at the fabulous Arbor House in Ipswich.
The session included 6 amazing craft beers and we were lucky enough to be joined by Lacons Brewery who shared their own special Steam Lager – a beer style that originated from the USA during the late 1800’s, combining American, English and German hops with the finest Norfolk grain and a special strain of lager yeast.
It is always a great privilege to welcome a regional brewery to the sessions and Lacons didn’t disappoint, providing brewing insights + a few secrets too. While beer reviewer Jake Overton introduced an exceptional collection of craft beer:
|Brew by Numbers||11|03||IPA||4.0%|
|Evil Twin||A is for Apricot Gose||Gose||4.5%|
|Wylam||Cather in the Rye DDH Pale||APA||5.8%|
|Burnt Mill||Ties That Bine||DIPA||8.2%|
|Atom Beers||Neutron Star 2017||Imperial Stout||12.6%|
You won’t want to miss Secret Beer Club (Session 8) on 24th May either, with special guests Nethergate Brewery from the Suffolk / Essex border, at another unique and secret location in the heart of Ipswich.
